IFM Pro · Clubs & national teams

Audit. Support.

Two ways to strengthen the medical organisation of your club or national team: a one-off diagnosis, or outsourced medical direction across the whole season.

Audits

Two levels of analysis. One methodology.

IFM looks at what really flows between the medical staff, performance, coaching staff and management: decisions, information, responsibilities. Two audit formats, depending on what your club needs to know.

What makes the difference

Match day: where an organisation shows its true shape.

Protocols say what should happen. Match day shows what actually happens: who decides, how information flows under pressure, how the staff respond to the unexpected. The 360° Audit includes observing a full competition day, from preparation to post-match.

> BeforePreparation, logistics, allocation of roles
> DuringDecisions, communication between pitch, bench and dressing room, handling the unexpected
> AfterPlayer care, handovers and follow-up

How an audit works

  1. ScopingScope, contacts, schedule and review of existing documents.
  2. IFM assessment toolsProprietary IFM assessment tools, adapted to the roles present in your club and analysed before the visit.
  3. On-site workInterviews and observation to compare declared practice with real operations.
  4. DebriefReport, prioritised recommendations and discussion with decision-makers.

Outsourced medical direction

A club doctor never left alone. An organisation that keeps improving.

For clubs without a full-time medical director, IFM brings a senior, structured and independent medical perspective throughout the season.

Core principle: The club doctor remains responsible for day-to-day medical care and player management. IFM brings supervision, expertise, structure, analysis and support on complex decisions — without creating a second medical department.

Scope of work
  • Everything in Standard
  • 6 to 7 on-site visits per season
  • Occasional attendance at staff and management meetings
  • In-depth medical organisational audit
  • Structuring of the club-wide medical organisation
  • Preparation of next season's medical strategy

What the service includes

Medical Dashboard

A monthly steering tool for management and the medical team: availability, injuries, return to play, exposure. Simple, readable, decision-oriented — not a shared medical record.

Medical Transfer Management

Incoming: anticipate what needs investigating and prepare the medical. Outgoing: a documented medical status, respecting medical confidentiality and consent.

Medical governance

Structured sessions with management, sporting direction and staff, to decide on the basis of shared findings.

Example of the IFM Medical Dashboard: squad availability, return-to-play tracking and exposure. Fictitious data.

The rhythm of a season

  1. Pre-season> Set upInitial audit, protocols, responsibilities, medical–physio–performance coordination.
  2. Autumn> AssessReal-world operations, availability, injuries, RTP and first corrections.
  3. Mid-season> StructureInterim review, governance, resources and links between teams.
  4. Spring> Plan aheadAssessment of the set-up, final stretch and priorities for next season.

Starting mid-season? The rhythm adapts: understand, optimise, structure, plan ahead.

Shared objective: a club doctor fully operational day to day and never isolated; a structured medical organisation; better information flow; and a medical function able to support the club's sporting and economic project over time.

Audit and support: An audit can serve as the first phase of an engagement: its cost is then included in the overall fee, with no double billing.

Every engagement is based on a proposal tailored to your club and to the scope we define together.

Let's talk about your organisation.
